BGM 1100
Benitoite
$800.00
2.4 x 1.8cm
Top quality competition thumbnail specimen with a 1.8cm triply terminated crystal that has an unusually large C-face. There is some contacting with the Crossite matrix, but no damage. |

|
BGM 1114
Benitoite, Neptunite and Joaquinite
$750.00
5.5 x 5.2cm
This specimen is one of very few I sell that I did not at least partially etch. As you can see by the provenance, this specimen was prepared by the folks at The Collectors Edge. They did a fine job with it, so there was no need for me to fix it! This is a damage free three species piece and a very displayable large miniature. |

|
BGM 1101
Benitoite
$3500.00
8.3 x 6.9cm
Top quality small cabinet specimen with 10 large and mostly undamaged Benitoite crystals, the largest being 2.1cm across. There is also quite a bit of gem rough in some of these crystals, though it would be a shame if someone chopped this up. Specimens of this size and quality are becomming very difficult to find. |

|
BGM 1102
Neptunite and Joaquinite
$250.00
9.0 x 8.4cm
Cabinet sized specimen with several Neptunites, the largest measuring 2.8cm long and doubly terminated. There are also a number of small (1mm) Joaquinite crystals scattered over the specimen. |

|
BGM 1103
Benitoite and Neptunite
$150.00
5.2 x 3.0cm
There isn't any Natrolite here, but there is a rich concentration of small, lustrous Benitoite crystals to go with a few Neptunite crystals. This would be much more costly, except for the fact that there is some obvious damage to some of the crystals. |

|
BGM 1104
Benitoite and Neptunite
$600.00
9.7 x 6.6cm
This specimen has a number of both Benitoite and Neptunite crystals, but I must warn that this is a fairly thin specimen, under 1cm in many places, so it is a bit fragile. The longest Neptunite is 2.2cm long and the largest Benitoite is 1.3cm across. There is very little damage on this specimen. |

|
BGM 1105
Benitoite, Neptunite and Joaquinite
$1800.00
3.6 x 2.5cm
This specimen was a total surprise. I remember seeing the Benitoite as it was emerging through the etching process and being amazed at just how good it was! This is pretty much anything I could ever want in a specimen from the Benitoite Gem Mine. There are all three species, Benitoite, Neptunite and Joaquinite, there is no damage, the Neptunites are standing up and the Benitoite is large (1.7cm) and the tip could cut a pretty decent stone. |

|
BGM 1106
Benitoite
$600.00
3.4 x 2.5cm
This could be trimmed or etched pretty easily to make it an official thumbnail, but for now I was content to leave it as it is. The main Benitoite is quite a crystal, measuring 1.7cm across and being damage free, though the third termination contacts the matrix a bit. |

|
BGM 1107
Benitoite, Neptunite and Joaquinite
$150.00
3.1 x 2.9cm
This one has some different things going for it, it has all three main species and it has some large Benitoites, up to 1.8cm across. However, it is the 4.5mm perfect triply terminated Benitoite right in the middle of the specimen that makes it one of my favorites! |

|
BGM 1108
Djurleite
$60.00
2.8 x 1.5cm
Djurleite is a rare copper sulfide that is occasionally found at the Benitoite Gem Mine, though often all we see are green malachite halos around where a crystal of Djurleite used to be! This is a well formed crystal that is 4mm across. |

|
BGM 1109
Neptunite
SOLD
4.5 x 2.9cm
Lots going on with this one. Very lustrous Neptunite crystals up to 1.9cm long and very aesthetic. |

|
BGM 1110
Benitoite Cluster
$400.00
3.2 x 1.9cm
This is a cluster of over 10 Benitoite crystals up to 1.5cm across and very little matrix. It was very difficult to photograph, but this is a rare and unusual specimen. Both sides of the specimen are shown in the photographs. |

|
BGM 1111
Benitoite
SOLD
3.1 x 2.1cm
Very nice thumbnail with two 1.3cm Benitoites as well as some others arrainged in a sub parallel pattern which is a bit unusual. |

|
BGM 1112
Benitoite and Neptunite
$2000.00
9.8 x 8.4cm
Although this is my livelihood, I truly love what I do, especially when specimens like this are considered. A solid cabinet size specimen, the number of crystals of fine quality is just staggering! I'm not going to try and count, but there are probably over 50 Neptunite crystals (largest is 2.2cm long) and over 50 Benitoite crystals (largest is 1.3cm across). This specimen would fit well in almost any collection. |

|
BGM 1113
Benitoite and Neptunite
$3000.00
12.8 x 8.1cm
This is a very striking specimen that will catch your eye from across a room! There are a good dozen or so Benitoites that are over 1cm across and the largest is 2.2cm across and triply terminated. There is some damage on this one, but there is also a lot of gem material. |

 |
BGM 1085
Benitoite and Neptunite
SOLD
2.6 x 1.6cm
Very nice thumbnail with a 1.6cm across Benitote crystal diving down into the matrix. The termination is undamaged, there is a bit of damage at the top left of the specimen. |

|
BGM 1093
Neptunite
$220.00
2.9 x 1.6cm
This is a wonderful Neptunite Thumbnail/toenail specimen with a 2.9cm main crystal that is undamaged and fantastic luster. |
