TS 1003
Aragonite, variety Tarnowitzite
$120.00
5.5 x 3.0 x 2.0cm
A very unusual specimen. The Tarnowitzite has a coating of what is likely Calcite (see fluorescent picture) also there are small crystals of what I believe is Duftite as well. Ex. Kristalle (with label).

TS 1004
Reticulated Cerussite
Sold
2.1 x 1.8 x 1.5cm
A lovely thumbnail specimen of reticulated (snowflake) Cerussite. This one was difficult to photograph, but it is quite nice!

TS 1005
Azurite
SOLD
3.0 x 2.3 x 1.1cm
This is a top thumbnail, both for its unusual form and its high luster. Damage free except for some very hard to see tiny chips.

TS 1006
Cobaltoan Smithsonite and Hematite
$60.00
3.7 x 3.0 x 2.2cm
A fairly average Cobaltoan Smithsonite until one looks closer to see the little dots of what I believe is Hematite on the Smithsonite. A very affordable Tsumeb oddity.

TS 1007
Azurite Pseudomorphing into Malchite
$500.00
5.1 x 2.6 x 2.5cm
This is something that Tsumeb is famous for. This specimen is right in the middle of the Malachite replacing the Azurite, but it is still very lustrous and the form is excellent.

TS 1008
Malachite Pseudomorph after Azurite
SOLD
5.2 x 4.8 x 2.2cm
Excellent, undamaged example of of Malachite completely replacing Azurite.

TS 1009
Wulfenite
$60.00
3.2 x 2.0 x 2.0cm
This is a very well mineralized specimen with a sharp 6.7mm Wulfenite crystal right in the middle. This is a good piece to look at under a microscope and see just how many minerals you can identify!

TS 1010
Willemite on Cerussite
Sold
2.3 x 2.1 x 2.6cm
This is an association I have never seen before with two bluish gray balls of Willemite perched on a lobe of the Cerussite sixling. The left hand portion on the Cerussite crystal does show some damage, but its the association that really makes this a quality thumbnail.

TS 1011
Anglesite
Sold
1.9 x 1.6 x 1.9cm
Much more attractive than Tsumeb Anglesite tends to be. Sharp undamaged crystals on a sulphide matrix makes for a nice contrast.

TS 1012
Scorodite
$800.00
1.3 x 0.9 x 1.6cm
This is a large, though incomplete crystal of this rare arsenate. The front shows lustrous crystal faces, the damage being at the very top and in the back of the specimen. Still, a very large crystal for the species.

TS 1013
Smithsonite on Cerussite
$300.00
6.0 x 3.5 x 4.7cm
This is one of my favorite specimens. It may be difficult to see on the photos, but these very light pink Smithsonite crystals (up to 1.0cm across) have grown on top of a large Cerussite sixling crystal! Add in that this is pretty much damage free and you have one unique and beautiful Tsumeb oddity.

TS 1014
Azurite and Malachite
Sold
2.3 x 2.3 x 2.3cm
Most of the Azurite from Tsumeb comes as prismatic crystals. This thumbnail specimen is full of these little Azurite "buttons" that are actually intense little sprays of the mineral. Add in a little bit of Malachite for color and you have another top thumbnail!

TS 1015
Cerussite
$300.00
4.3 x 3.6 x 2.0cm
This is a complete floater sixling twinned crystal of Cerussite with one little dot of what I believe is Malachite at the center of the crystal. There are a few areas of minor damage that you should be able to see from the pictures. Without the damage this would have been a $1000.00+ specimen, but at $300.00 I think it is very reasonable.

TS 1016
Calcite, Duftite and Brochantite
$100.00
4.5 x 3.4 x 2.7cm
This is a very unusual piece, it took me a while to be sure that the darker green mineral was in fact Brochantite, but I am pretty confident of that now. There is a tiny bit of damage, but it does not distract from the specimen in my opinion.

TS 1017
Beaudantite and Malchite
$100.00
4.4 x 2.5 x 1.4cm
Beaudantite is of of Tsumeb's rarities and this specimen has a vug that is covered with small (<1mm) crystals. There is also a bit of primary Malachite in the vug as well.
|
|
TS 1018
Willemite and Mimetite
Sold
3.6 x 3.2 x 2.4cm
A nice combo specimen with Native Copper as well. There is some damage outside of the vug, but inside it is damage free. This particular Willemite does fluoresce under short wave UV light, most Tsumeb Willemites do not.
